Im neuen Format begann die Auktion „One“ bei Christie’s in Hongkong, ging in Paris und London weiter und endete in New York. Dort wurde Roy Lichtensteins Spätwerk „Nude With Joyous Painting“ von 1994 mit einem Hammerpreis von 40,5 Millionen Dollar zum Spitzenlos. Sein Rekord steht seit fünf Jahren bei 85 Millionen Dollar.
