From 19 May 2023, the State Hermitage will be presenting the exhibition “OTMA and Alexei. The Children of the Last Russian Emperor” devoted to the offspring of Nicholas II. Chronologically it spans the period from 1895 to 1914 – that is to say, the time of their untroubled childhood and youth, unaffected as yet by the First World War and the revolution that followed.
